South Korea cherry blossom group trip overview

We’ll visit the following cities over 10 nights and 11 days, with cherry blossom adding a magical touch to each stop.

Day 1: Seoul

Touch down in Seoul and ease into the adventure with a relaxing day to settle in. Feel free to explore if you arrive earlier than others—we’re happy to suggest activities. We’ll meet for an ice-breaker dinner.

Day 2: Seoul

Start the day with a scenic walk up Namsan Mountain for sweeping views of the city from the iconic N Seoul Tower, surrounded by beautiful cherry blossoms. Next, we’ll head to Seokchon Lake, a perfect spot for cherry blossom viewing, where the trees in full bloom reflect in the water.

In the evening, we’ll hit Myeongdong for a shopping spree and street food—you won’t leave empty-handed!

Day 3: Seoul

Begin the day with an early visit to Bukchon Hanok Village, where traditional Korean homes are nestled among charming alleyways, offering picturesque cherry blossom views. Then, we’ll visit the majestic Gyeongbokgung Palace where history and nature combine beautifully. Enjoy brunch at a nearby café (tried and tested by me!).

The afternoon is yours to explore Gangnam—whether you’re up for a facial, hair spa, or some shopping!

Day 4: Seoul

Get ready for a day trip to the DMZ, where you’ll learn about the complex history between North and South Korea. Explore iconic landmarks, hear stories of division and hope for reunification, and gain a deeper understanding of the region’s past and present.
After we return to Seoul, the evening is yours to explore on your own.

Day 5: Jeju Island

Before our evening flight, we’ll enjoy a food tour at Gwangjang Market, where you can sample a range of Korean dishes (yes, there are vegan options too!). If cross-contamination is a concern, take it easy and relax.
Later, we’ll arrive on Jeju Island, known for its stunning natural beauty. Get some rest, as we’ll dive into its wonders tomorrow.

Day 6: Jeju Island

Spend the day exploring eastern Jeju, where volcanic cliffs meet pristine beaches and lush countryside. Our highlights include the historical Samseonghyeol Shrine, the volcanic peak Seongsan Ilchulbong, and lunch at Hamdeok Beach.

In the afternoon, enjoy an easy hike along Seoubong Trail and stroll down Jeonnong-ro Cherry Blossom Street before wrapping up the day at the Jeju Old Market.

Day 7: Jeju Island

Explore secret autumn foliage viewpoints I discovered on my last trip! Then, visit the stunning Jeongbang Waterfall and, if time allows, hike to Suwolbong Peak Summit to spot dolphins off the coast. We’ll end the day with a visit to the Innisfree Jeju House.

Day 8: Busan

We’ll head to Busan, starting with a visit to the seaside Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Then, relax at a hanok-style café offering breathtaking views. The evening is yours to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 9: Busan

Wander through the vibrant Gamcheon Culture Village, filled with colourful alleyways and quirky art installations. Take your time capturing Instagram-worthy moments! Afterwards, unwind at Spa Land, a luxurious Korean spa experience (included in the fee). You’re free to explore or shop on your own for the rest of the day.

Day 10: Seoul

We return to Seoul, where you can revisit your favourite spots or discover new gems—I’m happy to help with suggestions. In the evening, we’ll gather for a relaxing sunset picnic at the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival, a perfect farewell to our adventure.
