Day-by-Day Itinerary for 10-day Japan Cherry Blossom Group Trip 2025
Day 1: Tokyo
Touch down in Tokyo and settle into your accommodation. If you arrive early, feel free to explore nearby sights or unwind after your journey. In the afternoon we’ll visit and have a fun ice-breaker amidst Cherry Blossoms- believe me, you’ll brag about the setting! And at night we’ll go on a tour of a bustling neighbourhood (no, it is not Shibuya) with a local who will show us the Tokyo nightlife you’ve seen in movies!
Day 2: Tokyo
Our day starts at the immersive world of TeamLab—prepare for mind-bending digital art that’s as interactive as it is beautiful. In the evening, get ready for a cherry blossom festival by a river. For those interested, we’ll head to some hidden bars later at night—a list carefully curated and tested by us.
Day 3: Tokyo
Kick off the morning with a traditional tea ceremony, a calming Japanese ritual. Then we go on a guided walking tour through Tokyo’s historical and cultural gems with a local. Afterwards, go all out at the excitement of Shibuya—don’t miss the famous crossing! The rest of the day is free for shopping or exploring on your own. We’ll provide you with all the recommended places in Shibuya to explore.
Day 4: Tokyo
We’ll leave Tokyo behind for a day filled with stunning views of Mount Fuji! Our first stop is Kawaguchiko Oishi Park, where you’ll capture the beauty of Lake Kawaguchi with Fuji in the background—perfect for photos. Next, we’ll head to Arakura Sengen Park, famous for its breathtaking views of the city and Mount Fuji framed by cherry blossoms.
Later, we’ll visit Oshino Hakkai, a serene village with crystal-clear ponds fed by Fuji’s snowmelt. Finally, we’ll ascend to Mount Fuji’s 5th Station, 2,300 metres up, for close-up views and unique souvenirs.

Day 5: Kyoto
It’s time to head to Kyoto, the heart of Japan’s cultural and historical treasures. After a 4-hour train ride, we’ll arrive in Kyoto. In the evening we will head out on a tour through Kyoto’s iconic temples and gardens with a local guide.
Day 6: Kyoto
Start the day at the iconic Arashiyama, stroll through the famous bamboo grove and explore the charming temples in the area. You are also in for a little treat with a special temple lunch experience (not included in the cost). From one iconic sight to another, explore a hike up the Fushimi inari shrine and take photos with the legendary tori gates.

Day 7: Kyoto
Start the day on a zen note, with a visit to the UNESCO heritage site of Kinkakuji Temple. Get ready for a taste of Kyoto—literally! Post lunch we’ll visit a local sake brewery for a tour and tasting session, where you can learn about the art of sake-making. The rest of the day is free, so take your time wandering through the city, shopping for souvenirs, or visiting traditional izakayas.
Day 8: Kyoto
Take this day to explore Kyoto or, for those up for it, take a day trip to Hiroshima. Visit Peace Memorial Park and the hauntingly beautiful Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island. Or you could visit Nara and meet the bowing deers! We can help you plan the day trip.
Day 9: Osaka
We’re off to Osaka, that too on a heritage train! First up is a visit to Osaka Castle and its surrounding gardens, offering both history and beauty. Afterwards, get ready to shop ‘til you drop at Shinsaibashi-suji, followed by an evening in the Dotonbori district, famous for its street food, neon lights, and endless entertainment. To cap off the night, we’ll hit up a karaoke spot for some fun!
