Middle of nowhere!
Ever questioned your very existence? Ever heard yourself say these lines: “Why am I alive?” “What do I want to do?” “What am I put on earth for?” “God! Why is this happening to me?” so on and so forth.
We all have one of those days where we are in the middle of nowhere! Times when everything could be just fine everyone around you is busy in the diddle-doddle of the day, we find ourselves staring at the ceiling, numb, so numb that we can’t make a logical decision. You question everything, yes! Everything you have been doing lately.
But! Let us not let a bad day\week\month lead us on believing we have a bad life. Because a negative attitude is like a flat tire, we can’t go a long way without changing it and the sooner we change it the better.
You must be thinking it is easier said than done and you are not wrong. But if you have a choice between something that adds on to the stress and something that gives you hope, what would you choose? In my opinion at times there is only one way of getting through when you are stuck in second gear and that is- leap of faith.
Whoever said life will never be perfect must really not be wise! When you look for your life to be perfect you seek the perfection through other’s eyes. You judge yourself, your life and your existence as others would judge. What we fail to understand is that as long as we keep worrying about what others think we are owned by them! The moment we stop seeking for approval from outside world and stop comparing our lives with theirs life would start looking perfect, just the way YOU want it to be.
So the next time when you find yourself cocooned in isolation and despair and cannot find your way out of the darkness, remember that just when the caterpillar thought the world is coming to an end, it grew wings.
For now smile, smile every chance you get. Not because life has been easy, perfect, or exactly as you had anticipated, but because you choose to be happy and grateful for all the good things you do have and all the problems you know you don’t have and tell that cloud of negativity to gust away because the fact is sometimes you find yourself in the middle of nowhere and sometimes in the middle of nowhere you find yourself.
